So far

Hola!
Well, today the rest of our staff arrived with the exception of our chaperone RA who has the tremendous task of flying from JFK with 20+ of our students, ages 12-17 on Monday. Lucky girl, I know you are all jealous of her. I wonder if she gets hazard pay for that?!?!
The yesterday, Wednesday July 1, was another hectic day of prep. I spent my day making signs, running to reprografia (the copy shop), hanging signs, preparing the student and teacher lanyards, and just overall organizing our office space. Here are a few pictures of my efforts:

This is the forms area that I organized.

Our office, my desk is behind the pole AND not everyone here is as OCD as I am about organization.

Our office door signs, designed and colored by me!

So I was given the task on my first supply run to fine something to put on the end of our student lanyards to hold their keys and important numbers. Well in the USA it would be easy to find these right??!!?!? Well here I couldn't think of anythin, then it hit me, photo album sheets! I am a GENIUS! ;)

As mentioned above, one of our RA's isn't arriving until Monday with the kids, but she still neede to have door name tags, so I made these. That's a flamenco dancer that I traced and cut out for each person, it took me FOREVER! The girls better appreciate it!

The office bulletin board, mailbox and supplies area I organized.

And that's pretty much it, my next post will be on our adventure to the city with the staff.
